Abstract
This paper provides a status update on the IEEE 802 Project. It should be considered in conjunction with the author’s previous DCCS papers on this subject (Ref.1,2) since it concentrates on changes since the last report. Changes in organization of the committee and the documents’ method of processing as IEEE standards, and technical requirements are discussed. In addition, an expanded scope of committee work is described. The status of the work in the IEEE and international standards organizations is described.
