Abstract

In celebration of the IEEE Foundation’s milestone 50th anniversary in February 2023, the organization’s desire to lay the foundation for the future we envision, and the eighth annual “International Day of Women and Girls in Science” event on 11 February, the IEEE Foundation has proudly expanded its four pillars of impact to include a new, fifth pillar, “future,” that includes IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE).”
