Abstract
A new species of aquatic bug, Idiotrephes meszarosi sp.n. (Helotrephidae, Helotrephinae, Limnotrephini) is described (male, female, nymphs) from Vietnam and compared with I. chinai Lundblad and I. maior Papacek. All species of the genus Idiotrephes are keyed and their differential characters illustrated.
