Abstract

A 35-year-old woman underwent exploratory laparotomy for ovarian enlargement, massive ascites, and intestinal obstruction. Sclerosing peritonitis associated with florid mesothelial hyperplasia, ovarian fibromatosis, and endometriosis were diagnosed postoperatively. We add to the literature this new association of bilateral ovarian enlargement, sclerosing peritonitis, and florid mesothelial hyperplasia. (Am J Obstet Gynecol 1997;176:721-2.)
