Abstract
A large and symptomatic idiopathic renal arteriovenous (AV) fistula closed over a two-year period of clinicoradiologic observation. This feature of idiopathic renal AV fistulas has not been eported previously, to our knowledge. If the presenting symptoms permit nonintervention, not only the trauma-related but also the idiopathic renal AV fistula can be conservatively managed and may heal spontaneously.
