Abstract

Idiopathic portal hypertension (IPH) is a disorder of unknown etiology and is associated with Celiac disease (CD). A literature review yielded only 11 reported cases making this a rare entity. We present an asymptomatic 39 year old male found to have IPH with persistently elevated liver enzyme for several years.
