Abstract

Sac shrinkage after endovascular aneurysm repair has become a more reliable marker for successful treatment and has been associated with improved mortality. This report identifies an association with a simple renal cyst and failure of sac shrinkage.1 Thus, we may have an additional marker to help us identify the patient who needs more thorough surveillance. That secondary computed tomography finding that we previously considered unimportant may now be an indicator for the patient we should observe more closely.
