Abstract

The aim of the article is to identify what personality skills are necessary for the work of a manager of social services and how managers can develop them in the conditions of the Slovak Republic. In the paper, we use logical-cognitive scientific methods, namely literature review, analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction. The results of the article point to the fact that the field of economics and management of social services is undersized, which is evidenced by the absence of study programs in the field of economics and management of social services offered by universities in the Slovak Republic.
