The goals to be achieved in this study was to determine the effect of the combination of the demensions of the bio-briquettes results of particle size and compressive strenght of the calorific value and long burning time. Specified variable is the size of the particle: 20 mesh, 25 mesh, 30 mesh, 35 mesh and 40 mesh and the compressive strenght: 4 kg, 5 kg and 6 kg. The results obtained in this study is the highest calorific value obtained on 35 mesh particle size and compressive strenght of 6 kg in the amount of 7624.00 kcal/g being the longest length of time ignition occours at a particle size of 40 mesh and a compressive strength which gained 4.57 kg calllorific value of 7098.14 kcal/g with long burning time of 63.2723 minutes. And it turn out that the conclusions obtained Particle size and powerful Press, did not affect the calirific value but the effect on the long burning time. Keywords:Pyrolisi, biomass, bio-briquettes, calorific value and long burning time.
