Abstract

This study aims to identify the multiple intelligences of students of the STKIP NU Indramayu Primary School Teacher Education study program. Multiple intelligence is one of the important components that must be considered in producing educators who can answer the challenges of the Age. The method used in this research is survey method. Surveys are used to collect data or information about large populations using relatively small samples. After observing the initial data, followed by making an instrument in the form of a questionnaire which was then tested and validated. The sample in this study was the 4th-semester students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program who took the basic science concept subjects as many as 33 students. The results showed that multiple intelligence profiles of students were 8 students dominant in spatial intelligence, 7 students were dominant in intrapersonal intelligence, 5 students were dominant in kinesthetic intelligence, 4 students were dominant in linguistic intelligence, 1 student was dominant in mathematical-logical intelligence, 2 students were dominant in interpersonal intelligence, 2 students are dominant in kinesthetic intelligence, and 4 students are dominant in more than one intelligence.
