Abstract
This study aims to identify and describe the types of cassava in Tomia Timur District, Wakatobi Regency. The research was carried out in Tomia Timur Subdistrict, Wakatobi Regency, in December 2021 January 2022. This research is a survey research that is analyzed descriptively by statistics that is describing, describing, and describing the object being studied. The variables observed were stem color, branched and unbranched, stem height, stem diameter, distance between stem segments, leaf color, petiole color, leaf lobe length, tuber shape, wet tuber weight per tree, outer skin color of tuber, color inner skin of tubers, tuber flesh color, benefits of cassava plants, cultivation techniques, and soil conditions. The results showed that there were 10 types of cassava in Tomia Timur District, Wakatobi Regency, namely Kalambe cassava, Kalambe Fanse cassava, Ndoke cassava, Bogoro cassava, Bogoro Mohoro cassava, Makuri cassava, Andapatua cassava, Salbia cassava, cassava English wood, and Andabula cassava.
