Identification Techniques Applied to an Interacting Tank System

Abstract

The paper discusses the application of different identification methods to a real Interacting Tank System. This plant has been especially designed with characteristics and problems inherent to industrial processes and, therefore, is an adequate benchmark for modeling and control problems. In this paper, three methods are applied to identify the main dynamics of the tank system. Some results are included and briefly discussed. Cet article diseute l'application des différents méthodes d'identification sur un systéme réel des Vases Communicantes. Le système a été conçue avec des caractéristiques et problèmes propres aux processus industrielles et est, donc, une bonne reférence pour l'étude des problèmes de commande. Dans cet article trois methodes ont été employées pour l'identification de la dynamique du système des vases communicants. Des resultats ont été présentés et discutés.
