Abstract

Organic and inorganic alkane gases have been identified and distinguished, and the coal-type and oil-type gases in the organic alkane gases differentiated herein by means of the composition variation and evolution characteristics of alkane gases in the natural gases, regressive equations (δ13C1 ≈ 14.12 lgR0-34.39 for coal-type gas and δ13C1 ≈ 15.80 lgR0-42.20 for oil-type gas), as well as the diagrams of δ13C1vs. C1 C2 + 3, δ13C1vs. R0, δ13C1vs. δ13C2 and δ13C3, coal-type gas δ13C1 vs. R0 and the ternary diagram of light gas C7 composition.
