Abstract

In this paper a fuzzy neural network based modelling has been presented for the identification of structural parameters of uncertain multi-storey shear buildings. Here the method is developed to identify uncertain structural mass and stiffness matrices from the dynamic responses of the structure. In this method, the related equations of motion are modified using relative responses of stories in such a way that the new set of equations can be implemented in a series of Fuzzy Neural Networks (FNNs).
