Abstract
A new method for the identification of the structure of terminal units in polybutadiene synthesized by cationic polymerization has been developed. The method consists of conducting T2-filtered NMR experiments, which make it possible to reduce the intensities of the spectral signals of the main-chain carbon atoms and significantly increase the intensities of the signals of the carbon atoms in the head and end polybutadiene units characterized by higher mobility.
