Abstract
The aim of this study was identification and antibiotic susceptibility of Staphylococcusspecies from mastitic milk, comparison of results by using commercial identification methods such as VITEK, MALDI-TOF MS analysis. A total of 100 milk samples taken in sterile conditions were investigated for the presence of Staphylococcus sp., which were found to have clinical mastitis problems in animals in the milk province of Aydın province and surrounding areas. Identification of Staphylococcus species was performed by VITEK 2, VITEK (MALDI-TOF) MS in addition to biochemical methods. Staphylococcus sp. was isolated from 34% of the milk samples.
