Abstract
An identification of the three leading binary gluonic mesons (glueballs) : gb 0 ++, gb 0 −+, gb 2 ++ is discussed. In the case of the scalar the analysis includes the assignment of the scalar q q meson nonet, which exhibits in parallel with the pseudoscalars a large violation of the OZI-rule.
