Abstract
Gibberellin A 9 has been identified conclusively by combined gas chromatography-mass spectrometry of extracts of Norway spruce[Picea abies (L.) Karst.]. The clean-up of the 100-g samples were performed by poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone colum chromatography and two different systems of high-performance liquid chromatography, and active fractions were detected by the Tan-qinbozu dwarf rice bioassay.
