Abstract
ポリスチレン単体のシクロヘキサン/2-プロパノール(1:1)混液溶出物中に構造未知のスチレントリマー(ST)であるNST-12-1,NST-12-2の存在を確認した。機器分析及び合成的知見から両化合物は,1-フェニル-4-(2-フェニルエチル)テトラリンのジアステレオマーであり,前者では1-フェニル基及び4-(2-フェニルエチル)基がcisに,後者ではtransに配置していることが判明した。NST-12-1,NST-12-2は,材質試験でポリスチレンシート(PSP)及び耐衝撃性ポリスチレン(HIPS)から,溶出試験でポリスチレン(PS)/HIPS/PSPラミネート容器からの溶出を確認した。更に,内分泌撹乱作用の有無を検証するためNST-12-1,NST-12-2の混合物を用い,細胞及び実験動物の二つのレベルで生物学的評価を実施した結果,いずれの試験系においても作用は認められなかった。
