Abstract
This study aims to identify the bioactive compounds in areca nut oil and evaluate their antioxidant properties. Utilizing advanced chromatography-mass spectrometry techniques and bioactivity detection methods, a variety of compounds with potential health benefits were successfully isolated and identified from areca nut oil. The results indicate that these compounds possess significant antioxidant capabilities, effectively scavenging free radicals and reducing oxidative stress, offering new insights for the development of novel natural antioxidants and the prevention of chronic diseases.
