Abstract

The third issue of Revista Aurora is published with the Identity Dossier and other forms of sociability. Continuing our editorial project, this section presents themes that are part of the debate proposed by the Culture, Identity and Memory line of research - linked to the Postgraduate Program in Social Sciences. The articles discuss issues of relevance to the area, such as the question of the religious identity of Candomblé followers; the normative foundations of Critical Theory and the debate surrounding the legacy of Jürgen Habermas; and also, a discussion about daily life in the Resocialization Centers. Guided by the fruitful dialogue between the four lines of research of our Postgraduate Program, the Miscellaneous section contains articles that will certainly contribute to the continuity of debates. The special section is more than special. Here is a small tribute from Revista Aurora to Odirlei Dias Pereira who completed her master's degree in this Program last October, but who unfortunately passed away on December 4th of this year.
