Abstract

This editorial discusses the topic of the articles published in this volume, and compares them to the mainstream LIS journals. This procedure leads the author to the following conclusions: The issues and share concerns coincide with current Anglo-American LIS subjects, and also evident local characteristics. Thus, globalization and local visions live and feed in a dynamic exchange.
