Abstract
Transplantation biology has accumulated evidence of persistent Mixed lymphohematopoietic chimerism after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) grafting, resulting in donor-specific tolerance to alloantigens. Ahmedabad-Tolerance induction protocol (A-TIP) allows grafting in living related donor renal allograft (LRD-RA) recipients with persistent low-level MLHC & donor-specific tolerance across MHC barriers. Present study aims to prospectively evaluate the ideal radiation portal needed for tolerance induction in these patients.
