Abstract

Treatment of rotator cuff arthropathy begins with conservative measures. Surgery is considered when pain progresses, and shoulder function deteriorates. Recently, percutaneous peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) offers another non-surgical option for treating pain. Below is a case of chronic shoulder pain from rotator cuff damage that was successfully treated via percutaneous PNS stimulation with long term pain relief.
