Abstract

Patient selection and pre-procedural planning are two factors that affect spinal cord stimulator (SCS) outcomes. We present a case of a patient with challenging anatomy - including morbid obesity, epidural lipomatosis and low lying conus (mid L2) who achieved successful pain relief and function with procedural and system modifications after an initially failed SCS Trial.
