Abstract
Introduction: Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) and other chronic pain therapies have typically been assessed by in-clinic pain scores. However, patient satisfaction is much more than sparsely measured pain alone. Digital technologies have made remote monitoring of comprehensive, longitudinal data now possible. Usefulness depends on both patient and care-team engagement and the ability to derive deep insights from complex data. Here we describe early versions of a custom-built novel digital health ecosystem, platform compliance and satisfaction, and potential for proactive intervention.
