Abstract

In patients with chronic axial back pain, results of spinal cord stimulation are still heterogeneous regrading comparable therapeutic response between systems and stimulation paradigms used. New patient-adapted stimulation seems to lead to a clinically significant pain reduction in this commonly low-responder patient population. We therefore examined the efficacy of two types of patients adapted stimulation on pain intensity in patients with persistent spinal pain (PSP).
