Abstract

Peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) is a promising novel treatment modality for the management of chronic knee pain.1,2 Multiple studies have suggested that PNS is effective in the treatment of post-surgical knee pain.3-5 Fewer data, however, exist to support the use of PNS in the pre-surgical setting. This investigation seeks to clarify the potential clinical utility of PNS for the treatment of chronic knee pain amongst patients who have failed conservative measures.
