Abstract

Treating chronic pain using cervically-placed leads and traditional SCS has been challenging due to the possible occurrence of uncomfortable paresthesia triggered by neck motion. Although there is strong evidence for the successful treatment of back and lower limb pain, evidence demonstrating successful treatment of upper limb pain (ULP) is sparse. A prospective, multi-center study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Differential Target (DT) Multiplexed SCS in subjects diagnosed with chronic ULP is being conducted.
