Abstract

Although there are studies exploring lumbar medial branch prognostic blocks and optimal cutoff for RFA success, there has been little research on the relationship between prognostic blocks and radiofrequency ablation (RFA) success for the sacroiliac (SI) joint. The objectives were to assess the relationship between pain relief from prognostic dorsal ramus (DR) and lateral branch (LB) blocks and success rates of RFA of the SI joint and to evaluate other factors as outcome predictors of SI joint RFA success.
