Abstract

A 39-year-old man with a past surgical history significant for an acromion-clavicular joint stabilization and release procedure with Orthopedic Surgery after falling off an electric scooter four years prior presented to our clinic with chronic 8/10 right anterior clavicular pain. The patient previously tried physical therapy, acupuncture, and neuropathic agents with minimal relief. On exam, there is tenderness over the right anterosuperior clavicle, right pectoralis, and right trapezius muscles. Active end range of motion in the right shoulder was limited. There was decreased sensation at the right clavicle but intact 5/5 strength. MRI Brachial Plexus was normal. A Right Shoulder MRI revealed prior capsular release and coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction. However, there was no evidence for capsular thickening and the reconstruction appeared stable compared to previous imaging.
