Abstract
Dorsal root ganglion stimulation (DRG-S) has been utilized in treating axial low back pain (LBP) with T12 lead placement. Unfortunately, patients are not candidates for the Proclaim DRG-S system if they cannot use the handheld patient controller or require routine truncal MRI exams. The aim of this report is to describe the use of a Burst spinal cord stimulation (Burst-SCS) system with leads placed at the DRG in two patients with contraindications for the DRG-S system.
