Abstract

Post-herpetic neuralgia is a frequent occurrence after shingles and is known to cause pain for long periods after the dermatomal rash has cleared. It usually involves the thoracic or abdominal dermatomes1. Pain management in post herpetic neuralgia followed by Complex Regional Pain syndrome is very challenging when a patient has superimposed facet arthropathy and spinal stenosis.
