Abstract

Spinal cord stimulation is used to treat chronic pain of the trunk and/or limbs. Clinical studies may enroll patients with a variety of pain etiologies and typically collect the number and types of previous surgery performed related to a patient’s back pain. Following the DTM SCS randomized controlled trial (RCT), there has been interest to examine the demographics and low back pain (LBP) relief characteristics for the subset of patients without previous spinal surgery. Results of a post hoc analysis are presented.
