Abstract

Targeting the dorsal root ganglion which consists of cell bodies of the primary sensory neurons can play a vital role in reduction of chronic pain conditions (1). The DRG is involved in the transduction of pain signals to the central nervous system (CNS) from the peripheral nervous system (PNS) (2).
