Abstract
Epilepsy surgery efficacy is dependent on accurate seizure localization, but whether seizures are the result of networks or focal phenomenon is debated. Previous human and animal studies from our group have demonstrated dual seizure territories with contrasting neural firing patterns in limited data sets. In this study, we hypothesized that ictal neural activity markers would segregate into two contrasting patterns in limbic structures, with similar dynamics to neocortical structures.
