Ibn- Genie's Grammatical efforts in his book (Al-Khisāsīs).

Abstract

This study shows Ibn- Genie's grammatical efforts in his book (Al-Khisāsīs). This book includes all the characteristics of Arabic language، including morphological، grammatical، linguistic، and rhetorical characteristics. In this book، Ibn-Genie dealt with the work of the principles of grammar according to the doctrine of the principles of speech and Islamic legislation. The book is considered a rich material in studies، chapters، and grammatical issues. The goal of this study is not a detailed study of all of this، but rather to place Ibn-Genie's grammatical output in its structure and general framework according to his view of this science، and to demonstrate the impact of his broad knowledge، his intelligence and innovative mind، and his ability to reason، analyze، and issue judgments in writing his book 'Al-Khisāsīs'، including definitions، principles، analogies، grammatical sections. and the relationship of grammar to some other branches of language. In this study، I relied on the historical method، the descriptive method، and the analytical method.
