Abstract

A 63-year-old woman was referred for a new vitreous hemorrhage in the right eye after YAG laser vitreolysis for symptomatic floaters by an outside provider. At presentation her visual acuity was hand motion. B-scan ultrasonography demonstrated vitreous hemorrhage and a possible chorioretinal disruption. The following week the patient underwent a vitrectomy to remove the vitreous hemorrhage. A partially clotted subretinal hemorrhage and multiple hemorrhages extending from the inferotemporal arcade were noted (Fig A).
