Abstract
India is acquiring latest weaponry in its quest to achieve regional dominance. This will give it an upper hand vis a vis conventional capabilities of its much smaller neighbor, Pakistan. The most prominent deals are the ones for S-400 and Rafale. Acquiring these weapon systems will greatly enhance India's force posturing. It will look to compel smaller regional neighbors, particularly Pakistan, according to its' desires.
