Abstract

Patients with opioid-induced constipation (OIC) frequently relate their constipation burden to uncomfortable passing of hard, dry stools. Although naloxegol (Movantik™) increases spontaneous bowel movement frequency, its effects on normalizing stool consistency have not been fully described. This post-hoc analysis of the KODIAC clinical trials describes naloxegol effects on stool consistency.
