Abstract
The article explores the main milestones in the biography of I.A. Mironov. Based on methodological approaches and methodological tools of the historical discipline of biography, the main stages of his scientific and pedagogical activity are analyzed. The fact of personal acquaintance and cooperation of I.A. Mironov with D.M. Karbyshev in captivity. Since there are only a few memories of its participants from the documentary evidence of the organization of the resistance in Auschwitz, the introduction of new facts can be considered an important contribution to the study of this topic. Simultaneously conducted microhistorical research is another important page in the vast chronicle of the Great Patriotic War. Particular attention is paid to the period of work of I.A. Mironov at the Irkutsk Financial and Economic Institute. The source basis for the study was documents from the personal archive of E.G. Zinkov, personal file of I.A. Mironov from the archive of the Baikal State University, as well as documents from the state archive of the Irkutsk region.
