Abstract
ABSTRACT Jesus Koothu is a contemporary shadow puppetry performance that narrates the life story of Jesus Christ through tholpavakoothu. Tholpavakoothu has strong traditional Hindu religious roots of one thousand years but Jesus Koothu narrates the biblical text of Christianity.
