He worked thirty-five years for the LDS Church Historical Department in the Church Archives. He especially liked to help researchers find materials in their subject. She is the author of “Bathsheba Bigler Smith: Woman of Faith and Courage,” published in Vicky Burgess-Olson’s Sister Saints (1978). She is the mother of six children: four boys and two girls. She is also daughter of Marian Gardner Fluckiger.
