Очень часто для этого употреблялась мера зерна для пQсева яровых и количество сена со скошенного луга. При исслецовании вопроса о величинах мер сталкиваемся со многими затруднениями, так как в разных местах Литвы имеются различные величины мер. В статье автор пытается объяснить возникновение некоторых единиц мер и сравнивает их с мерами сегодняшнего дня. SUMMARY Quite recently indirect measures of area were still used in measuring practice. The grain measure for sowing spring crops and the amount of hay from a mowed meadow often served as a measure of area. The study of the problem of measure values in vol ves many difficulties owing to different measure values, used in various places of Lithuania. In this paper the auther tries to explain the appear and of some measure units and compare them with those used to-day.
