Abstract
The current-voltage characteristics (CVCs) of isolated platelet boundaries in melt-textured bulk Ag-doped YBa 2Cu 3O 7,δ have been measured. The CVCs showed pronounced hysteresis. However, the critical current did not show any field dependence. Such hysteresis can be explained by a self-heating model.
