Abstract
ABSTRACT Direct action of clomiphene citrate on the hypothalamic LH-releasing function was demonstrated by the increase of plasma LH following subcutaneous clomiphene injection into the ovariectomized rat. Simultaneous administration of clomiphene and exogenous LH-releasing factor does not increase plasma LH compared with injection of either clomiphene or LH-RF; thus clomiphene seems to have no major influence on LH-synthesis of the pituitary gland. There is no interaction between exogenous LH-RF and clomiphene.
