Abstract

The anti-diabetic activity of extracts and fractions from leaves of Bridelia micrantha was investigated in alloxan diabetic rats. Powdered leaves of B.micrantha were macerated with 80% MeOH for five days. The petroleum ether, CHCl3 and MeOH/H20 soluble portions were prepared from the crude aqueous MeOH extract and tested on the diabetic rats.
