Abstract

Purpose: Immunosuppression is an important contributor to morbidity and mortality after transplantation. We report the relationship between hypogammaglobulinemia and bacterial lower respiratory tract infections (LRTI), bronchiolitis obliterans (BO), acute rejection (AR), diagnosis of post-transplant lymphoproliferative disease (PTLD) and mortality in a cohort of pediatric lung transplant recipients.
