Abstract
Hypervalent iodine oxidation of trimethylsilyl ketene acetals of esters and lactones using iodosobenzene in methanol affords the corresponding α-methoxylated carbonyl compounds in good yields. #On leave of absence from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, 136119, India.
