Abstract

A 69-year-old Black man presented to the Family Medicine Skin Care Clinic with a 4 x 3–cm hyperpigmented, rubbery, micronodular plaque on his left upper back. He reported that the lesion had appeared several years earlier, and noted occasional waxing and waning in size but no associated pain, itching, or trauma to the area. He had a history of hypertension and type 2 diabetes.What's your diagnosis?
